Dr. Micaela Gobeille is a graduate of Boston University and completed the joint OD/MS program at New England College of Optometry, with research focusing on low vision outcomes measurement. Subsequently, Dr. Gobeille completed a residency in primary care, vision therapy, and low vision rehabilitation at the Northport Veterans’ Affairs Medical Center followed by the Lions Low Vision Rehabilitation Fellowship at Wilmer Eye Institute. Dr. Gobeille joined NECO faculty where she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Specialty Advanced Care and Vision Science. She is an attending optometrist at NECO Center for Eye Care, Boston Medical Center, The Carroll Center, and Lynn and Holyoke Community Health Centers. Dr. Gobeille has published on low vision outcomes measures and lectures nationally and internationally on topics pertaining to low vision patient care.
